NetCode develops software solutions integrating business processes and technologies in sustainably functioning systems. We are fully aware that in order to satisfy information needs of business, these needs must be first identified and analyzed, and only then technological solutions should be chosen. We are not related to software solutions of specific manufacturers, therefore, in each individual case we choose the technology best suited to individual problem areas. Our proposed technologies are not only widely used all over the world, but have been tested and successfully implemented in other large-scale projects. | We can solve customer tasks only with the help of a team of qualified experts in their field, therefore, our company employs certified technology professionals with extensive experience in developing complex software solutions based on modern software frameworks and technologies. We also have a wide range of partners with whom we have implemented a number of large-scale projects. In order to ensure software quality, we follow internationally recognized procedures, standards and best practices. The company has implemented a quality management system complying with ISO 9001:2008 standard. |
Official statistics production consists of several phases starting with specifying information needs and ending with the publishing of official statistics. Each of these phases are divided in various subprocesses which are carried out in different organizational units of Lithuanian Department of Statistics. When there is no single model and location for metadata and data storage it becomes quite difficult to exchange data and metadata between different organizational units and subject matter experts. Official statistics production processes were also inconsistent between different organizational units. So there was a great need to standardize and centralize storage and management of statistical data and official statistics production processes based on common and internationally acknowledged models. There was also a great differences in how statistics experts validate and edit microdata sets, i.e. different tools and techniques were used and no central store for validation and editing rules were implemented. These complex problems were addressed in the following manner:
a. Implementation of the centralized statistical data and metadata repository based on international Generic Statistical Information Model (GSIM);
b. Implementation of the centralized statistical process design and execution platform based on international Generic Statistical Business Process Model (GSBPM);
c. Implementation of the centralized statistical microdata validation and editing component, based on standard Validation and Transformation Language (VTL).
